Set in a dark near-future Seattle, "Scrap" is a 1-minute live action CG/VFX film portraying a heartwarming animal rescue.

Produced remotely by a 4 person team as the culminating project at AIE and presented at the Film School Showcases during the 2021 Seattle Film Summit.

My main job on this production was to design, model and texture the cyberdog. I sculpted it entirely in Zbrush.
I also created the electricity, smoke, and fire effects using Niagara and Cascade VFX systems in UE4.
For the city scenes, I made concepts for street ads, skyline and planter holograms. I also designed the couch concept for the home scene.
In post production, I completed all of rotoscoping in scene 1 and partially in scene 2.
